TAMPA, Fla. – The 2025 USL Youth season wrapped up this month, concluding an action-packed summer with more than 2,800 matches played.
Over 650 teams competed across the league’s four divisions and 11 age groups. Over 13,000 players featured for teams from 12 different states, showing USL Youth’s continued growth across the country.
This year, the U10 age group featured in USL Youth for the first time. 66 teams competed between the boy’s and girl’s divisions.
USL Youth hosted three neutral site events in the Midwest region. Complexes in Indiana, Ohio, and Illinois hosted over 500 matches for the more than 2,000 players that were in attendance each weekend.
The season now builds toward the 2025 Electrolit USL Youth Finals, set for December in Tampa. 156 top teams from the U11-U19 age groups will compete in a five-day tournament to crown 15 champions.
“The 2025 season marked an incredible step forward for USL Youth,” said Gabby Del Hierro, Director of USL Youth. “With record participation, the introduction of the U10 age group, and the launch of the Mid South Division, this season showcased the passion and dedication of players, coaches, and families across our platform. We’re excited to build on this momentum and invite clubs everywhere to join us in creating the best environment for youth players to grow.”
