As the only unrestricted youth tournament hosted by a US professional league organization, the USL Pathway Classic invites clubs from across the country to apply, creating a unique competitive platform for young players to showcase their talent.
2025 USL Pathway Spring Classic | Tampa, FL
The inaugural tournament will take place from April 24-27, 2025, at the Tournament Sportsplex of Tampa Bay in Tampa, Fla. Future editions of the event will be held in various markets of USL professional teams, with the first event showcasing the USL Championship’s Tampa Bay Rowdies and the USL Super League’s Tampa Bay Sun FC.
Age Groups
Multiple divisions of play will be offered at each age, ensuring accepted clubs will be placed in a competitive & developmentally-appropriate bracket. This will be limited to a select number of elite-level teams, though all clubs are welcome to apply.

Applications for the USL Pathway Classic are open now.
- ALL teams must apply for each specific age group.
- No placements are guaranteed. Just because a club is accepted into one age group does not guarantee all.
- Teams will be placed in divisions based on team ranking and/or past performance.
This event is an unrestricted youth tournament and open to all USSF/FIFA affiliated domestic and international organizations for boys and girls.
USSF Member Organization Teams:
- All Players and bench personnel must present picture identification cards issued by the team’s federation Organization Member (USYS, US Club, AYSO, USSSA, other)
- US Youth Soccer National State Association teams outside of Florida (FYSA) must provide/upload proof of permission to travel.
- Teams must provide/upload a certified/approved tournament roster from the team’s Federation Organization.
International Teams:
- International teams are accepted on a “conditional” basis and must provide an official roster and written permission/verification from their Federation, indicating authorization to participate in the Tournament within 14 days of this acceptance notification to confirm participation. International teams failing to provide this documentation will be waitlisted. The remaining required documents will be due once accepted.
